Oshoala Retains Barcelona Jersey Number Ahead 2020-2021 Spanish Season

Nigerian Super Falcons and FC Barcelona star, Asissat Oshoala has retained her number 20 Jersey ahead of the 2020-2021 Spanish season.

According to reports, the former FC Robo Queens player will put on her former jersey number for the Barcelona side in the 2020-2021 season, as the Club unveiled the jersey numbers of all players with little changes.

In a squad with few changes and signings over the summer, the numbers of players have not changed much compared to the previous year.

Thus, the main novelty is the new number 3 of Laia Codina. The Club new signings Cata Coll and Gio Queiroz will wear jersey numbers 13 and 29 respectively.

Meanwhile, players like Jana Fernández and Bruna Vilamala will debut in first-team dynamics with jersey numbers 23 and 24 respectively.

Also, according to the club’s website, there would be no further changes to the names on the back of the jerseys for the squad that was successful in winning the league and reaching the semi-final of the 2019/20 UEFA Women’s Champions League.
