ADC Dissolves Exco, Reaffirm Commitment To Makinde’s Coalition Promise

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) Oyo State Chapter, have reinstated their commitment to the coalition agreement that saw to the victory of Governor Seyi Makinde at the 2019 gubernatorial elections in the State.
ADC members in a mini-congress that was held in Ibadan the Capital City of Oyo State on Sunday which has in attendance; delegates from each local government area of the State, leaders of the party in the State and delegations from the national Secretariat of ADC led by the National Secretary Chief Anayo Arinze, resolved in dissolving the acting executive members of the party at the State level.
The dissolved acting executive members led by Reverend Ezekiel Adeniran was due to the vacancy created by the expiration of their tenure, which led to the Congress appointment of new executive members.
Among the newly-sworn in executive members are the Chairman, Mr. Adeoti Babatunde Aderoju, Deputy Chairman, Timothy Adedeji, Secretary, Sola Olukokun, and Publicity Secretary, Barr. Bimpe Adelowo.
Also on the list of the new executives are Alhaji Yinka Olona who is the State Party Treasurer while Mrs. Olabode Bilikisu Bunmi is the Woman Leader, among others.
However in a communique signed by the new State Publicity Secretary, Barr. Bimpe Adelowo stated that “ADC Oyo State is an indivisible political party and therefore reinstate it’s commitment to the coalition government led by His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde.
“The party affirms the leadership of Chief Michael Koleosho, Chief Layiwola Lakojo, and Senator Monsurat Sumonu.”
