Gunmen have kidnapped five family members in Kaduna State.

News Rain gathered that some unknown gunmen have kidnapped five family members in Kaduna metropolis.

The gunmen who were said to have attacked a community known as Barakallahu in a commando-style, in the early hour of Friday had reported having kidnapped four children alongside their mother.

The gunmen who according to eyewitnesses were said to have kidnapped four children of the same parents alongside their mother at a gunpoint.

The eyewitness who pleaded anonymously said the sad incident happened around 12 am on Friday (today), stressed that they were waking up by the gunshots.

He said, ‘We began to hear the sounds of gunshots. We could not even sleep any again. We initially thought that the gunshots were from the Airforce base, but it was not so, but the nearest voices that emanated from the next street to us made us realized that something is wrong.

” It was when we managed to get to the mosque in the morning that we were briefed about what really happened.

” I was told it was some kidnapers that stormed our area and had kidnapped four children including their mother during their door to door raid.

The father and husband of the kidnapped victims, one Mr. Abdusalam Haruna said the gunmen stormed his house and took away four of his children and their mother.

He said ” I’m a tailor, I was sleeping inside my house with wife and children, just of sudden some unknown gunmen forcefully gained entrance Into my house and kidnapped my four children and my wife. Two of my children that were kidnapped are in the University, while one is in Secondary School and another one is in Primary School.

The names of the kidnapped victims according to Haruna are Hauwa Abdusalam, Muhammad Abdusalam, Muhammad Mustapha Abdusalam, Hajara Abdusalam (Wife), Hairi Abdusalam.
