FRSC Convicts 44 Traffic Offenders
FRSC has convicted 44 traffic offenders.
News Rain reports that the Federal Road Safety Kano State Command has convicted 44 traffic offenders out of 48 traffic offenders that were arraigned for various traffic offenses.
The development which was made known through a statement that was signed by the FRSC Kano State Command Public Relation Officer Kabiru Daura, who disclosed that 44 out of the traffic offenders have been convicted, while 4 others were discharged and acquitted.

The statement which was made available to the newsmen in the State stated that the Federal Road Safety Corps Kano State Sector Command has commenced aggressive public sensitization alongside enforcement of traffic rules as part of the activities of the Ember Months.
Daura through the statement stated that “A mobile court sat on last Thursday 17th September 2020 at a location along with Kano – Kaduna Road. The Court was presided over by a Senior Magistrate, Huda Haruna. During the court sitting, a total of 48 traffic offenders were arraigned out of which 44 were convicted for various traffic offenses and 4 were discharged & acquitted. The mobile court would be sustained throughout the Ember Months period.

Furthermore, Public sensitization campaigns in Motor parks, religious places, Markets, the Media, and other public fora have been intensified and would be sustained within the period.
The Command also wishes to acknowledge the tremendous efforts of the Media, Community and Religious leaders for their immeasurable support in the area of Public sensitization and We hope this would be sustained.
In case of emergency, the Command’s ambulances, tow truck and rescue team are on standby 24 hrs, the general public should therefore report Crashes and Road obstructions to nearest FRSC Command in the State for prompt response.
