Murder: Man Kills 70-year-old Father, Buries Him In Shallow Grave
Man has reported having killed his father, also buried him in a shallow grave.
News Rain reports that a 26-year-old man has reported having killed his father and also buried him in a shallow grave.
The man who is identified as Chisom Ogum has been arrested by Police officers that were attached to Umunze Division for allegedly attacked, killed his father, and buried him in a shallow grave in Orumba Community of Orumba South Local Government Area of Anambra State.

According to the Police reports that were released to the effect by the State Police Public Relations Officer, Haruna Mohammed on Saturday stated that a 26-year-old man was yesterday morning arrested for killing his father and buried him in a shallow grave.
Haruna Mohammed through the statement said the suspected killer allegedly ran amok in circumstances yet to be ascertained, attacked, and allegedly killed his own biological father Christopher Ogum aged 70 years of same address with a shovel and buried him in a shallow grave.
News Rain also gathered that the suspect attempted to escape before he was apprehended and beaten to stupor by an angry mob who equally forced him to exhume the corpse of his father from where he buried it.
We also gathered through the statement that the Police has also recovered the shovel used in perpetrating the crime as an exhibit and the C6ommissioner of Police John B.Abang, has ordered for the case to be transferred to the State CID Awka for discreet investigation
The statement affirmed that the Police detectives had visited the scene of the incident and took the body to the mortuary for autopsy after it was certified dead by a medical doctor at Umunze general hospital.
