Nigeria@60: I Can’t Wish Nigeria Happy Independence Day – Yul Edochie
Yul Edochie has given the reason he can’t wish Nigeria happy independence.
News Rain gathered that the ace Nollywood actor, on Thursday while expressing his thoughts on the 60th Independence Day celebration of Nigeria, questioned Nigerians who are celebrating the independence Day by pointing out the ills in the country at the moment.
According to him, Nigerians are suffering and have no cause to celebrate.

He said: “I cannot wish anyone happy independence when my people are not happy. What are we celebrating? Fuel price increase? Electricity tariff hike? Hardship? Bad roads? Killings everywhere? Jobless youths turned beggars? The list is endless. Speak the truth. Nigerians are suffering.”
Yul, a son to a veteran actor, Pete Edochie attended the University of Port Harcourt, where he received a Bachelor of Artsin Dramatic Arts.
He joined Nollywood in 2005 in his first film titled “The Exquires” alongside the Late Justus Esiri and Enebeli Elebuwa. He got his break in 2007 after featuring alongside Genevieve Nnajiand Desmond Elliot in the movie “Wind Of Glory”.
