EndSARS: It Is Your Right To Protest- Gov. Fayemi Backs Protesters(Video)
Gov Kayode Fayemi today addressed a group of EndSARS protesters in Ekiti state.
News Rain Nigeria gathered that EndSARS protesters who gathered in their large number at the Fajuyi Park area of the capital city, Ado-Ekiti met with the Governor of the State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi who came down from his vehicle to address the protesters.

Governor who was hailed by the protesters assured them that all their requests are being looked into by the appropriate authorities.
He said: It is your right to protest, you are citizens of this country, if you have any grievances even beyond SARS let the government know.”
Speaking further, Fayemi who is also the Chairman of Nigeria Governors Forum said: “We recognize the right of Nigerians to peaceful protest and support police reforms, accountability, and Respect for Human lives. Your requests are being looked into. Appropriate government authorities are currently working on your grievances.”
Also, recalled that today, Gov. Kayode Fayemi marked his second year in office.
In a statewide broadcast this morning, the governor commended the people for their support do far and reassured them of his commitment to the service of the people.
He said: “I use the occasion of this second anniversary to rededicate myself to serving your best interests at all times. You are our most treasured and greatest assets, and we are committed to treating you as such. Saving you also necessitates working with others across the country.
As we continue to work towards the actualization of the Ekiti State of our dreams, I congratulate all of us, not only for the progress we have made but also for the bond we have formed, the lives we have touched, and the steady strides we are making.
Once again, I thank you for your patriotism and the courage you have demonstrated as well as your unflinching support on our collective quest to make our dear state, Ekiti, proud of all.
We are no doubt on the right path. We are determined to sustain this trajectory and soldier-on meticulously to implement more life-changing policies, programs, and projects. We are not unmindful of the fact that a lot still needs to be done and would be done.
As the journey continues, we cannot do it alone, we are still counting on your support and tolerance, while we as the government will remain steadfast in our efforts at making life better for the generality of our people. “
