Goodluck Jonathan has commiserated with governor Makinde following the death of his mother.
News Rain Nigeria reports that the former President Goodluck Jonathan has commiserated with the Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde over the sudden death of his mother, Madam Abigail Makinde.

Recall that madam Abigail Makinde passed away yesterday, Thursday, 15th, October 2020, at the age of 80 years.
The former President, Goodluck Jonathan in his condolence message to the Governor and the people of Oyo State noted that late Madam Abigail Makinde lived an exemplary life.
Jonathan through the condolence message, which a copy was made available to the News Rain Nigeria correspondent in Ibadan, the Oyo State Capital, stated late Madam Abigail Makinde was a conscientious woman, adding that he is saddened by the news of the demise of the late Madam Abigail.
He said, “Although death is inevitable, the exit of a parent is always a painful experience. Even when God’s grace leads them to a ripe old age, their death elicits a discomforting feeling of loss that leaves grief in the heart of loved ones.
“Mama led a life worthy of emulation and contributed her very best to the growth of our society. Her legacies and memory will not be forgotten, having nurtured her children, including Governor Makinde, to become accomplished and reputable citizens of our dear nation.
Jonathan’s condolence message further reads, “Your Excellency, I extend my deepest condolences to you and your family over this great loss.”
