NSCDC has deployed personnel to ensure safety of lives and properties.
News Rain Nigeria reports that the Oyo State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, on Thursday declared that the Command has deployed personnel to secure lives and properties in the State.
The Command through a Press Release that is was issued and signed by the State Public Relations Officer of the Corps, CD. Oluwole Olusegun stated that it is necessary for the Command to deploy the personnel in other to ensure the safety of genuine protesters.

NSCDC Oyo Command through the Release which a copy was made available to the News Rain Nigeria stated that the Oyo state Commandant, Isikilu Akinsanya, called on the protesters across the state to obey constituted authorities and harness the opportunity accrued in NSCDC Peace and conflict resolution unit before or when expresses their grievances.
According to the statement, the Commandant of Corps, Isikilu Akinsanya addresses the  Divisional officers, peace and conflict Resolution unit desk officers, Agro Rangers, and intelligent officers following a directive from commandant  General of the Corps,  Abdullahi Gana Mohammadu on the need to protect critical infrastructure across the state.
Isikilu said, “In the light of the above, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Oyo state have deployed personnel with other sister agencies  to ensure peace is sustain and critical national assets are protected.
Commandant Isikilu noted that the Endsars protest which was peaceful should not allow disgruntled elements to cause untold hardship on people they are fighting for.
The statement also confirmed that the command is determined  to protect innocent protester as well as the lives and properties of other citizens of Nigeria irrespective of who they are and where they are from.
He said, “The general public is hereby warned to desist from any act of violence in the state,” as much as we appreciate your concern for us as well as good governance, please stop attacking Security agents or their formations they are your parent, brothers or sisters and friends, do not destroy government properties because it is our commonwealth and heritage,” he said.
Commandant Akinsanya prays that God will grant all families who have lost loved one in this period the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
