Eid-El-Maulud: Federal Lawmaker Urges Muslims To Pray For Peace And Progress
Federal lawmaker has charged all Muslims to remember Nigeria in their prayers.
News Rain Nigeria reports that a Federal lawmaker that is currently representing the Oluyole Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Hon. Akande Tolulope Sadipe has called on the Muslim faithful across the country to remember to pray for Nigeria in their prayers.

Sadipe who made the call today, Thursday 29th October 2020, through a congratulatory message that was issued to felicitates with the Muslim faithful nationwide on the occasion of the 2020 Maloud Nabiyy celebration, maintained the Muslims should imbibe the spirit of peace in all their dealings.

The lawmaker according to the statement which was signed by her personal media aide, Mr. Olomilekan Olusada, which a copy was made available to the News Rain Nigeria Correspondent in Ibadan, the Capital City of Oyo State congratulated the Muslims that witness this year’s Eid-el- Maolud.
Hon. Akande-Sadipe through the statement noted that this year’s Maulud Nabiyy, which marks the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him), stressed that during these trying times, Muslims need to pray for the progress and unity of Nigeria.
Sadipe in the statement charged all the Muslim faithful and Nigerian as a whole to emulate the peaceful and humble attributes of Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him), noting that this will guarantee a better country for all.
She said, “As we celebrate in commemoration of the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him), I wish our Muslim brothers and sisters across the world, especially those in my immediate constituency, Oluyole, a blessed celebration”.
“Let’s preach peace, let’s emulate the humility of Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and pray for the survival of our country”.
“I urge you to avoid evil thoughts and sinful behaviors that may hinder our prayers and supplications unto Allah.”
The lawmaker also through the congratulatory message stressed that Nigeria needs prayers in order to surmount her numerous challenges.
She said we need to concentrate on our faith through prayers, seeking forgiveness, and by being there for those that may be needy around us.”
