“This is just the beginning of greater things to come to my family and Ibadan land, my plan is to consult round to know what my people lack which I’ve already been doing through my foundation by supporting Ibadan indigenes, widows, and less privileged in the society.”
Tegbe, who is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants continued that his interest in governance has never been diminished, saying that he is very keen on ensuring that the people get good governance by actively participating.
It will be recalled that Tegbe was one of the top three aspirants willing to succeeded the then incumbent Governor, late Abiola Ajimobi but was later dropped in the last minute to the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary held at Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan.
Meanwhile, the installation of Joseph Tegbe has reportedly put an end to insinuations from some quarters that Tegbe was not an indigene of the ancient town, Ibadan, as he (Tegbe) was earlier rumored to hail from Edo or Delta State.
