Gani Adams has received the Fellow of Chartered Institute Of Administration Award.
News Rain Nigeria reports that the Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, Iba Gani Adams has been inducted as a Fellow of Chartered Institute of Administration (FCIA).
Adams who was honoured on Friday during the 2020 Annual General Meetng (AGM) and the 46th edition of the induction of new members at the institute’s secretariat in Shangisha, Lagos.

Adams speaking shortly after his induction, showed his delight at the opportunity extended to him to join the league of professional administrators in Nigeria, describing his induction into the group of professional administrators as testimony of the council’s professional judgement, he maintained that I am happy to be here today, it is great relating with professional administrators because from my experience and background as an activist and leader of the Odua Peoples Congress (OPC) since 1994, I think my experience today is a new calling for greater challenges and responsibilities”
Adams stressed further that as far as I am concerned, the quality of inductees is highly encouraging because an Institute like the CIA remains the purveyor of success to leading administrators across the world, maintained that he really appreciates the governing council for its leadership quality, and respect for traditional institution.
Adams said he is of the opinion that the honour would enhance the qualities of the inductees, stating that he would contribute his inputs to the development of the institute, as well as promised to maintain the professional standards of the institute.
While delivering his speech at the award event, the President of the governing Council for Chattered Institute of Administration, Adm. Samson Olopade(FCIA) said the Induction of new members was made possible after following a robust deliberation of the governing council to open a window of opportunities to professionals and people of like minds.
Olopade said those inductees were inducted into the institute with some proven knowledge, ideas, capabilities and credentials that have all it takes to move the institute to a greater height.
Olopade stressed that out of the 298 interested applicants, 33 people were selected after rigorous screening processes, adding that those inducted cut across all disciplines.
