Oyo PDP has declared continuous support for Makinde.

News Rain Nigeria reports that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Oyo State Chapter has declared continuous undiluted support for Engr. Seyi Makinde led administration.

The State PDP through its Public Relation Officer Engr. Akeem Olatunji said the Party is determined to achieve success in terms of good governance through Engr. Seyi Makinde led administration in the State, hence there is need for us to support him to assure that all and sundry benefit from the dividends of democracy.

Engr. Akeem while briefing journalists at the party Secretariat in Molete Ibadan said there is no serious crisis within the party, noted that all the aggrieved members that are claiming been marginalized in this dispensation have forgotten that all the things they lost while been in the opposition for eight good years cannot be achieve just within the State of a year and some months of this current administration.

Akeem who briefed journalists alongside the State Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, Dr. Wasiu Olatunbosun urged all the aggrieved members to be patient with the State Governor Engr. Makinde, stressing that all members will be carried along with the dividends of democracy as at time goes on.

He said, everything is all about time, let us give our Governor Makinde time to perform, he maintained that it’s better for one’s party to be administration and be crying for being marginalized than be an opposition.

He said, “Oyo PDP remains the only chapter of the Party that is not having any serious crisis internally throughout Nigeria, and I want us all to continue in rendering our collective supports for our Governor in such unity manner, just like the way we did before the election which resulted in producing our sole candidates as the Governor of the State.

“We are proud to be an associate of the governor of the State, as he has been receiving accolades and bravos for his performance over the last one and some months in office.

“Engr. Seyi Makinde has been a role model for others, some of his colleagues are even buying from his genuine ideas towards uplifting the standard of governance, so I want us to maintain the status quo by continue to give him unflinching support. Engr. Akeeem said.
