ORAN President, And News Rain Publisher Recently Paid A Courtsey Visit To New DPO, Shogunle Lagos.

News Rain Nigeria reports that Online Reporters Association of Nigeria (ORAN )President, Shehu Tijani Adegbola and News Rain Publisher , Iyabo Aina have paid an official visit to new DPO Of Shogunle, C S P Magret Okonkwo.

CSP Magret Okonkwo welcomed the members of fourth estate into the new air-conditioned and well furnished office in Shogunle .

The former Owutu D P O , Okonkwo is many things combined; prophetess by virtue of God’s Divine calling, mother, friend, counselor, mediator, negotiator, advisor, nemesis, law enforcer, judge, and so many others on matters of crime, to so many people, who daily throng her office for help, financial assistance, justice or courtesy visitations.

During our conversation with her in her office, she spoke on many issues including Crime, Community Policing, Cultism, Rape, and some of her ingenious methods of tackling crime.

She also recalls her work experience in averting mayhem and cult-related unrest within her former Division, which is now one of the safest areas to live within Ikorodu.

Speaking during the courtesy visit, the president of ORAN, Mr. Shehu Tijani Adegbola informed the DPO that members ORAN really appreciates her good work in the society and her continued supports to the media.

According to him, the commitment of the police is responsible for reducing criminal activities in the state.

The president appealed to the DPO to collaborate with journalists to enable them to perform their duties without any hitch.

She finally commended the press for its efforts at keeping Nigerians enlightened and informed, while stressing the need for more cooperation between Police, and gentlemen of the fourth estate.
