Recall that popular Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo, recently took to her social media page to apologise to the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria, TAMPAN, days after she was suspended over her outburst on social media.

In a chat with News Rain Nigeria, the Nollywood Star said her apologies have nothing to do with Baba Ijesha’s case.

She added that her total support and stand is forever with the minor and her mom Princess, and she strongly believes justice will be served.

She said: “My apology to our elders had nothing to do with baba Ijesha’s case. My total support & stand is forever with the minor & her mom Princess & I strongly believe justice will be served”

Also, recall that Baba Ijesha has been charged with indecent treatment of a child, defilement of a child, sexual assault by penetration, attempted sexual assault by penetration, and sexual assault, which contravenes sections 135, 137, 261, 202, 262, and 263 of the Lagos State Criminal Law, 2015.

The ongoing case had made Iyabo Ojo take to social media on several occasions to air her opinion on the matter.

Apparently, her acts and comments did not sit well with the Board of Trustees of TAMPPAN and the Elders of Nigerian Motion Picture Industry as a stern warning was issued to her and fellow actress, Nkechi Blessing.

The guild accused them of making reckless accusations, abuses and bringing embarrassment to the association and the movie industry as a whole.

Days after, the delectable actress has taken to her verified Instagram page to apologise to TAMPAN.
