News Rain Nigeria reports that in a communiqué, Mr. Badung cited an example with the former Governor of Plateau State, Joshua Dariye as well as Reverend Jolly Nyame of Taraba State who happens to be a Christian leader as the victims of circumstance.

He said; “The sum of one billion Naira cash allegedly belonging to the former Northern Governor was arrested in Sokoto by the EFCC sometime last year yet the case has been swept under the carpet simply because the owner has Northern and Islamic immunity.”

“Can you imagine someone like the former Governor of Zamfara State, Abdul Aziz Yari who has more than 50 corruption cases and still walking free as if Nigeria belongs to a particular religion?”Mr Bot angrily said.
