Popular Fuji Musician Is Dead

Popular Ibadan-based fuji musician Alhaji Isiaka Iyanda Sawaba aka Easy Sawaba is dead.

The news was broken through Alhaji Rasheed Ayinde, Fuji Merenge via his social media.

Alhaji Ayinde disclosed that Easy Sawaba died at the intensive care unit of the University College Hospital (UCH) , Ibadan after he was reported to have slumped at Iwo Road some days ago.

Alhaji merengue however hinted that late Sawaba will be buried today according to Muslim rights at his Oluwo, Egbeda, Ibadan home.

It was gathered that the families of the late musician was contacted through his mobile phone when he slumped.

It was also gathered that thousands of naira was consumed daily before the musician finally breath his last in the early hours of today.

It would be recalled that Alhaji Sawaba recently celebrated his 70th birthday when he was said to publicly announced his intention to stop all worldly things.

It was gathered that the Pata Olokun crooner was said to have concluded plans to release another album before his sudden death .

Meanwhile, Alhaji Sulaimon Ademola, Commy Jackson has condoled with the family and described the death as a rude shock at a time when his experience is needed most.

“Although we can not question God because death is certain for everyone but I want to say that Allah will grant him Aljanah fridaous, but his death came at a time when his experience is needed most”.
