A New Era Begins In Magboro, As Prince Adeshina Olukoga Emerges New CDC Chairman

Prince Adeshina Olukoga has finally emerged as the new chairman of Magboro Area CDC.

The Election/Ratification of nominated Magboro Area CDC Executives for the year 2022/2025 set took place on Saturday, July 2nd, 2022 at the Community’s Health Center.

Present at the event were CDA Chairmen and their executives, Zonal Chairman, Engr. Jimi, Zonal Legal Adviser, Engr. Kuku Ayodeji, Local Government Director and State Officer,Mr. Lanre from Oke – Mosan in Ogun State.

The Chairman of the Zonal Electoral Committee, Mr. Michael started by calling out the names of candidates for ratification.

The pre-election and ratification process were run together simultaneously.

The outgoing CDC Chairman Engr. Segun Oladosu thanked all his executive members for their cooperation and support throughout his tenure and also send his appreciation to all the CDAs chairmen and the entire community for their support.

He also welcomed the incoming CDC Chairman Prince Adeshina Olukoga and his executive Members to the new era of government in Magboro area CDC, as he urged them to work together in unity and also be more active and leverage on his already laid legacies.

Engr. Kuku, the pioneer chairman, and an ex-official said in his opening remarks that he urged the CDAs chairmen and all the community members to please support the new executive members because they can not do it alone.

He also stated further that he’s ready to give his total support to the new incoming chairman and his executive members.

He further stated that the incoming Executives can beckon on him whenever they need his assistance.

The zonal chairman, Engr. Jimi Olusanya, however, advised the incoming executives to work in peace and unity together with every stakeholder in the community and that all hands must be on deck.

He enjoined the newly elected CDC Chairman to consult widely, reconcile all parties and respect every leader in the community. He emphasized that community service is a humanitarian service that should not rancor amongst members.

Engr. Hendel, CDC chairman from ibafo and Adviser to the Zonal Electoral Committee urged the L.G.A. representative present to please support the community because the community lacks a lot of support and benefits from the government.

Mrs. Sheu the Local government representative promised to direct the complaints and recommendations to the appropriate department.

She also advised the new CDC chairman and his executives to work together with love and unity. She said further that the new CDC executives should try and work more closely with the local government to enable them get the necessary benefits and support from the L.G.A. & state government respectively.

The new CDC Chairman Prince Adeshina Olukoga expressed his appreciation to all his predecessors, outgoing executive members, and the state/Local government representatives present.

He specially thanked the CDA chairmen that are present, stating clearly that he is ready to work with everyone that is ready to bring development into the community alongside his executive members.
