Again! Read How Nollywood Actor Saint Obi Died After Protracted Illness At 57

Reports emerged yesterday that popular Nigerian actor, Saint Obi, passed on at the age of 57 after a protracted illness.

The actor breathed his last on Monday after battling an unstated protracted ailment.

Before his demise, Saint Obi had reportedly relocated to Jos, the Plateau State capital to stay with his siblings for the treatment of the ailment that kept him in and out of the hospital for over two years.

Reports said the actor died at the home of one of his siblings.

According to sources, disagreement between his siblings was the reason his death took almost a week to be made known.

Meanwhile, his remains were said to have been deposited at the Jos University Teaching Hospital, (JUTH) morgue.

Recall that Saint Obi came into the acting scene in 1996 after featuring in a commercial for Peugeot on NTA.

The deceased, who featured in over 60 movies, was the delight of many in the 90s and early 2000.

He was known for his roles in Candle Light, Sakobi, Goodbye Tomorrow, Heart of Gold, Festival of Fire, Executive Crime and Last Party.
