The Lagos State Government on Friday announced closure of the popular Eko Bridge for two days for repair.

A statement issued by Oluwaseun Osiyemi, Lagos State Commissioner for Transportation, said the motoring public is hereby informed of the need to carry out emergency repairs on Eko Bridge, between Costain and Alaka descent.

These repairs are necessary to avoid the complete vandalisation and theft of the expansion joint as well as the replacement of missing parts and the recasting of the transition concrete around the expansion joint.
