Wizkid Speaks On Why He Wants To Become An Actor

Nigerian artiste Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has made a surprising career announcement, as he speaks on his plans to venture into acting.

Wizkid expressed his desire to embrace roles that involve kissing scenes and handling firearms in movies.

He disclosed this intention through his Instagram story, stating in Pidgin, “Shebi I tell una I one dey act film!…I just want dey kiss and shoot a gun for a movie. Daz all!!”

This revelation is coming after he was seen in the company of acclaimed Nollywood filmmaker Kunle Afolayan.

Wizkid Speaks On Why He Wants To Become An Actor

Additionally, Wizkid hinted at the possibility of extending his hiatus from music, initially planned for three to four years, and now contemplating a stretch to six years.

Sharing his thoughts on Instagram Story, he wrote, “Loving every bit of this holiday. Might extend to six years.”

Wizkid had earlier met with famous filmmaker Kunle Afolayan at his Afefeyeye Lounge in Ikeja, Lagos, where he entertained some fans.
