Popular Actor Dies In Car Crash With His Three Children

Veteran Nollywood actor, Emmanuel France is dead.

France believed to be in his 80s, was celebrated for his roles in films such as Cross My Sin, She Is My Sister, and The Director.

Nigerian filmmaker Femi Ogedengbe confirmed France’s death via his Instagram page on Monday, expressing sadness and recalling their fond memories together.

“Rest in peace to one of Nollywood’s legends, Uncle Emmanuel France,” Ogedengbe wrote. “One of the actors I took to Tanzania in 2006. We shot three movies together: Cross My Sin, She Is My Sister, and The Director. R.I.P.”

His passing has left fans and colleagues in shock and grief, coming just days after the death of another Nollywood actor, Big Larry.

Ghanaian by birth, Emmanuel France was a thespian who dreamed of shooting a film he titled ‘Ghana Must Go’.

It was a project that was very close to his heart.

He has featured in dozens of Nollywood films.

As of the time of this report, the cause of France’s death remains unconfirmed.
