The Federal Government has Lifted the N-Power suspension to begin payment of the backlog soon. This was disclosed by the Minister of State for humanitarian affairs and poverty reduction
According to the Minister, the suspension on all social investment programs including the NPower program has been lifted. He stated that the Npower beneficiaries’ bills will be settled and the program would continue.

This online news platform understands that the N-Power reform by President Tinubu was disclosed in a post on the micro-blogging site, X formerly known as Twitter by Dada Olusegun, the Special Assistant to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on Social Media.

According to the presidential aide, the Npower reform aims to connect youths through training and link them directly to the market space and private sector, ensuring that acquired skills translate into viable job opportunities.

President Tinubu’s aide, quoting Nentawe G. Yilwatda, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, said over 100,000 items have been procured to empower youths nationwide.

Olusegun said the President has also approved a sum of N32.7bn for implementing the National Social Investment Program (NSIP) in 2025.
