Napoli, Galatasaray Finally Reach Agreement For Osimhen

Napoli and Galatasaray have reached a full agreement for Victor Osimhen to join the Turkish champions on a permanent deal, following his successful loan during the 2024/25 season.
According to reports from Sky Sports’ Gianluca Di Marzio, Galatasaray have agreed to trigger Osimhen’s €75 million release clause.
Napoli will receive €40 million upfront, with an additional €17.5 million to be paid within the next year.
The full amount is expected to be settled by the end of 2026.
The deal also includes €5 million in potential performance-related bonuses and a 10% sell-on clause in Napoli’s favour.
In addition, an ‘anti-Serie A clause’ has been inserted to prevent Osimhen from joining a Serie A rival within the next two years.
Despite Galatasaray’s willingness to meet the full clause earlier in July, finalising the transfer was delayed due to negotiations over the payment structure and Napoli’s demand for formal financial guarantees.
The 26-year-old forward excelled during his loan spell, scoring 37 goals and providing eight assists in 41 appearances across all competitions.
In the Turkish Super League alone, Osimhen tallied 26 goals and 5 assists, helping Galatasaray to a dominant season.
The agreement brings an end to Osimhen’s four-year spell with Napoli, where he won the Serie A title and established himself as one of Europe’s top strikers.
Osimhen is expected to continue leading the line for Galatasaray as the Istanbul giants prepare for another strong domestic campaign and return to the Champions League.
