WARNING: Houses For Africa And Jonah Capital Call On Public To Beware Of Fake Representation

NewsRain Nigeria reports that the Board and Management of Houses for Africa and Jonah Capital have issued a warning and dissociated themselves from a fraudulent claim by Mr. Paul Odili and Mr. Adrian Ogunmuyiwa for presenting themselves as members of the Board and Management of the company.

This was gathered in a statement released and signed by Kojo Ansah Mensah, Chief Executive Officer/Managing Director, recently, on behalf of the board of management, warning members of the public to disregard such representation and desist from transacting any business with them.

The letter titled: UNAUTHORIZED AND FRAUDULENT REPRESENTATION REGARDING HOUSES FOR AFRICA AND JONAH CAPITAL,” and made available to NewsRain Nigeria, disclosed that records available with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) indicated that the Chief Executive Officer/Managing Director of the companies is Mr. Kojo Ansah Mensah, while the Company’s Secretary is Mr. Abu Arome respectively.

1. CAC RECORDS VERIFICATION: The official records of the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
   definitively confirm that:

• The Chief Executive Officer/Managing Director of the companies are Mr. Kojo Ansah Mensah.
• The Company Secretary is Mr. Abu Arome.
• Any claims by Paul Odili or Adrian Ogunmuyiwa to hold official positions within these
  Companies are entirely fraudulent and constitute forgery.

1. LAW ENFORCEMENT INVOLVEMENT: This serious attempt at corporate identity theft, forgery, and
   impersonation has been formally reported to the relevant Law Enforcement Agencies in Nigeria.
   Investigations are underway.
2. WARNING TO THE PUBLIC: Extreme Caution is advised in any dealings with Paul Odili or Adrian
   Ogunmuyiwa claiming affiliation with Houses for Africa or Jonah Capital.
   Any transactions, agreements, or solicitations conducted by these individuals in the names of Houses
   for Africa or Jonah Capital are null, void, and fraudulent.
   Parties who have engaged in any business or financial transactions with Paul Odili or Adrian Ogunmuyiwa
   purporting to act for Houses for Africa or Jonah Capital have likely been fraudulently duped.
3. ACTION FOR AFFECTED PARTIES: Any individual or entity that has suffered financial loss or entered
   into agreements based on these false representations is strongly urged to:

• Immediately cease further dealings.
• Report the incident to the Nigeria Police Force (Special Fraud Unit) and the Economic and
  Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
• Seek legal redress through the appropriate authorities and legal channels.
