NNPCL Reduces Fuel Price

Published

NNPCL, Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, has reduced the pump price of premium motor spirit (PMS) at its retail outlets in Abuja from N945 to N890 per litre

The new price, representing a N55 reduction, has already taken effect at major NNPCL stations, including Danziyal Plaza in the Central Area, Wuse Zone 4, Wuse Zone 6, and other outlets across the Federal Capital Territory.

It was reduced to N890 per litre this afternoon, down from N945,” a fuel attendant at one of the stations told Daily Post anonymously.

The adjustment follows similar price changes by private marketers.

On Thursday, MRS Empire Energy revised its pump price to between N885 and N946 per litre, down from N910 and N955, respectively.

The downward trend in pump prices is linked to Dangote Refinery’s recent ex-depot petrol price cut of N30 — from N850 to N820 per litre — alongside fluctuations in global crude oil prices.
