Full List Of Countries That Have Qualified For 2026 World Cup

At least 34 countries have now confirmed their participation in the 2026 World Cup.

On Monday night, Germany and the Netherlands became the most recent teams to qualify for next year’s competition.

The Germans secured their position after defeating Slovakia 6-0 at the Red Bull Arena.

The Netherlands also thrashed Lithuania 4-0 to ensure they would participate at the World Cup.

Africa has nine teams already through, having completed their qualification phase, while DR Congo qualified to contest in the intercontinental playoffs after beating Nigeria on penalties on Sunday.

There will be 48 nations at the 2026 World Cup, an increase from the 32 that played at the last edition in Qatar.

Hosts: Canada, Mexico, United States

Asia: Australia, Iran, Japan, Jordan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Uzbekistan

Africa: Algeria, Cape Verde, Egypt, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Morocco, Senegal, South Africa, Tunisia

Concacaf: None yet

Europe: Croatia, England, France, Germany, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal

Oceania: New Zealand

South America: Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Uruguay.
