ICYMI: Video Of Moment Nnamdi Kanu Yelled At The Judge, Says ‘You Don’t Know The Law, God Punish You’

A viral video of the moment IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, on Thursday openly challenged the court during proceedings has emerged.

In a video that surfaced online, Kanu is seen confronting the presiding judge, Justice Omotosho.

He argued that the court had no basis to proceed without his final address, saying the prosecution could not rely on what he described as a repealed law.

He said, “Which law states that you can charge me on a repealed law? Show me. Omotosho, where is the law? Any judgment declared in this Court is complete rubbish.’

“You don’t know the law, show me where it says you can waive the right to a final address, Omotosho, show me the law.”

Kanu’s outrage followed the dismissal of his applications, particularly the one asking for him to present a written address to the court.

Justice Omotosho, at the last sitting on the matter, waived the requirement for final written addresses, saying the court would rely solely on the arguments and materials already on record.

Kanu became livid when the judge told him he could appeal against the decision of the court.

All efforts to calm him by the judge and security operatives failed.

He kept yelling: ” You don’t know the law… Don’t touch me… God punish you.”

He had to be removed from the court by security operatives.
