Ikoyi Club 1938 Honors Siju Iluyomade With Amazon Leadership Awards

It was a celebration at its peak last weekend, Sunday 16th November 2025, at the historic, prestigious haven, the Ikoyi Club 1938, when the Convener of Arise Women, Dr Siju Iluyomade, was meritoriously honored by the Leadership of the Organization for her numerous achievements.

The event, which comes exactly 2weeks after the successful hosting of the 17th edition of Arise Women activities, which included but was not limited to, Arise Walk For and Arise Women Conference held in Lagos on the 1st and 2nd of November, amidst pomp and pageantry, with over 5000 participants.

The Ikoyi Club 1938, known for its credibility and prestige, has often selected distinguished personalities who have contributed immensely to society for honor, hence, Dr. Siju, has she is fondly called, was indeed picked due to his amazing job uplifting the underprivileged in society via her foundation in the last 17years.

Dr Siju, who came to the event alongside his husband. Pastor Idowu Iluyomade, the Senior Pastor at The Family Fellowship Church, and hosts of members of Arise Women showered with encomium and praises by leaders of the Club, led by its Chairman, Mr Akinwunmi Akintola, for selflessly empowering the less privileged individuals in the country with the provision of basic and social amenities over the years.

According to Mr Akintola, ” you have indeed written your name in the heart of many households with gold.

The support and assistance you have rendered through Arise Women Foundation have uplifted many in education, health, and provisions of amenities like boreholes and so on.

Arise Women’ has, in the last 17 years, catered to thousands of less privileged households across the country, building and equipping hospitals and schools in villages, including the construction of boreholes, mobile clinics, computer centres, and hosting women empowerment sessions, and many more.
