Uche Removed From Crystal Palace Europa Conference League Squad

Uche has been removed from the Crystal Palace Europa Conference League squad.

NewsRain Nigeria reports that Christantus Uche has been dropped from Crystal Palace’s UEFA Europa Conference League squad.

The Eagles recently submitted a 24-man squad to UEFA, with the Nigerian’s name conspicuously missing.

Uche was dropped to make way for new signings Brennan Johnson, Jorgen Strand Larsen, and Evann Guessand.

The Nigerian international arrived at Selhurst Park on loan from Spanish club Getafe last summer with an obligation to buy if he starts 10 games.

The attacking midfielder is, however, likely to return to Spain at the end of the season, having failed to make an impact with Palace.

Uche has made 13 appearances in the Premier League, starting only once.

He also featured in four games in the Conference League, scoring only once.
