Ex- Governor Yari’s Loyalists Caught With Fake 50,000 Printed APC Congress Ballot Papers
It’s no longer news that the upcoming APC National Congress elections scheduled to hold next week in Zamfara State have been cancelled due to some undisclosed reasons beyond the ruling party’s control.
News Rain Nigeria gathered that the main reasons are not yet made public by the ruling party.
However, one of the APC’s National Headquarter’s source said the security agencies in Kaduna have arrested some individuals who are believed to be loyalists of the former Governor of Zamfara State, Abdul Aziz Abubakar Yari with about 50,000 fake
printed ballot papers meant for the APC national Congress elections exercise.
At the time of filing this report, the occupants of the suspected Toyota Hilux according to an eye witness has been taken to an unknown destination in Kaduna around independence way.

Meanwhile, former bank Executive Director of one of the leading financial institutions in Nigeria (name withheld), Dr Lawal Dare was sighted by the same eye witness who pleaded for anonymity, following the arrest of the suspicious Hilux vehicle allegedly carrying the fake ballot papers.
Recalled that Yari the former Governor of Zamfara State has been accused several times of dictating in the party on who is to become who in Zamfara state, one of the political mortal sins committed by the former governor Yari was refusing to conduct a simple primary election, as the time he was about to finish his eight-year tenure as the Executive Governor of Zamfara state.
