Secondus Applauds Obasanjo For Saving Nigeria From Worst Time
Secondus has applauded Obasanjo and others for saving Nigeria from it’s the worst time.
News Rain reports that the National Chairman of the National Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Uche Secondus on Sunday applauded the former President Olusegun Obasanjo and some other eminent Nigeria elders for their standing to save Nigeria from it’s the worst time.

Prince Secondus noted that former President Obasanjo and other elders stood their ground during the worst time in the history of the Country.
Secondus Statement
Secondus in a statement that was issued and signed by his media aide, Ike Abonyi, on the deteriorating state of the country lamented that the situation in the country calls for patriotic men and women to stand up to be counted.
Secondus however, condemned the presidency for abusing Obasanjo for speaking out against the deteriorating state of the Nation, saying that the presidency and others are playing to the gallery instead of embracing words of wisdom from patriotic elders.

According to the statement, Prince Uche commended Obasanjo for always exhibiting exceptional patriotism whenever the challenge in the country overwhelms as its in the country today.
The PDP Chieftain also used the medium to call on President Muhammadu Buhari to find something to do with what he described as low mood of Nigerians, saying the low mood in the country is as a result of the multiplicity of taxation, tariffs, and security challenges amid biting economic hardship.
Secondus also advised President Muhammadu Buhari to save Nigeria from getting into what he called progressively worse by conducting a free, fair, and credible election in Edo September 19 gubernatorial poll.

Secondus warned that it would amount to pouring salt into an open wound to deny the people the right to chose who should govern them.
“Democracy strives well under rule of law and this is all the people of Edo state are asking for, to let there will prevail on September 19, 2020
“To deploy the military and other security agencies to do election duties outside the one statutorily assigned to them as was witnessed in 2019 general election and the gubernatorial elections in Bayelsa and Kogi state clearly undermine democracy,” Secondus stated.

Secondus charged President Muhammadu Buhari and his ruling All Progress Congress (APC), to dispose themselves to absorb the words of wisdom and stop grandstanding even as the nation under their watch is going down.
He warned the Presidency against abusing and disrespecting nationalists who fought for the unity of this country.
Prince Uche noted that the sour mood among citizens in the country today calls for a sensitive government to avoid anything that will aggravate and inflame already frayed nerves.
