AFCON 2023: Read Tinubu’s Reaction As Super Eagles Qualify For Final

President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Super Eagles following their victory over South Africa in the semi-final of the ongoing 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

Tinubu also charged the Super Eagles to go all the way and win the trophy.

Tinubu wrote via his X account, “From the Southernmost cape of Africa to the Plains of Mauritania and the coast of West Africa…. You have made us all Proud to be Nigerians! Go… Soar in the AFCON Finals Well done, boys!”

Recall that the Super Eagles used penalties to see off South Africa in their semi-final clash on Wednesday.

The game ended 1-1 in regulation time and after 120 minutes.

Nigeria will now face host Ivory Coast or DR Congo in Sunday’s final.
