Burna Boy has called for institutional reform in Nigeria Police Force.

News Rain Nigeria gathered that while the popular singer was asking that the police be paid better he went to his Tweeter page @burnaBo to asked for police reform.

He tweeted: “It’s a great morning to demand institutional reform in Nigeria. No reason why a sergeant on the police force earns 50/60k ($127) a month with no benefits! It doesn’t help our plight. #SARSMUSTEND

It will be recalled that the singer recently dissociated himself from the ranging protest against the activities of the Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS).

The Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu has disbanded the police unit and replaced it with Special Weapon and Tactics (SWAT) unit.

Burna Boy born Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu rose to prominence in 2012 after releasing “Like to Party”, the lead single from his debut studio album L.I.F.E in 2013. In 2017, Burna Boy signed with Bad Habit/Atlantic Records in the United States and Warner Music Group internationally.
