EndSARS: Popular Artist Condemns Past Political Office Holders-See Details

Mr. Eazi whose real name is Oluwatosin Ajibade has condemned some past political office holders for their utterances.

News Rain Nigeria gathered that Mr. Eazi in a tweet said former governors and other government officials who are now coming out to speak about the unrest in the country are all part of the problem.

In his tweets, the singer, while warning the youths not to get carried away said the old politicians have been killing the country for years with corruption.

He wrote: ”Guys pls don’t get it twisted all these old Governors & Government people coming out to speak like them righteous are all part of the problem!! They started this!! They might have not killed us with Gun but they killed us for years with corruption #ENDBADGOVERNANCE”

”Uncle what did you do when you were governor!! Asides make the future bleak for future generations by putting our money in your pocket, what did you do when you were minister? You are the root of Bad Governance!! You are the cancer #ENDBADGOVERNANCE”

Note that Mr. Eazi, is the pioneer of Banku Music, a fusion sound he describes as a mixture of Ghanaian highlife and Nigerian chord progressions and patterns. Mr. Eazi relocated to Kumasi in 2008 and enrolled at KNUST, where he began booking artists to perform at college parties. He showed interest in music after recording a guest verse on “My Life”, a song that gained traction and became a popular record at KNUST.

Mr. Eazi released his debut mixtape ‘About to Blow’ in July 2013. He gained an international audience following the release of the Efya-assisted single “Skin Tight”. His second mixtape Life Is Eazi, Vol. 1 – Accra To Lagos was released on 10 February 2017. In March 2018, several outlets reported that Mr. Eazi signed a record deal with Diplo’s label Mad Decent. Mr. Eazi signed a licensing deal with Universal Africa, a subsidiary of Universal Music Group.
