Gunmen Invade Kano Village, Abduct Traditional Ruler’s Wife

Some unknown gunmen have abducted wife of a traditional ruler in Kano.
News Rain Nigeria reports that the wife of Head of Tsara Village Hajiya Aishatu Aliyu has been abducted.
The news of Hajiya Aishatu Aliyu abduction was disclosed on Tuesday, 27, October 2020, by the Karaye Emirate Council of Kano State.
Hajiya Aishatu Aliyu who until her abduction is the wife of a Tsara Village Head, a village which is located in Rogo local government area of Kano State.
According to a statement by Haruna Gunduwawa, the Information Officer of Karaye Emirate Council,  Hajiya Aishatu Aliyu was kidnapped from her matrimonial home on Friday, around 1:00 am.

The statement affirmed that some unknown gunmen entered the house of the head of the Tsara Aliyu Muhammed around 1:00 am on Friday and whisked away his wife Hajiya Aishatu Aliyu.
Haruna through the statement said that the gunmen shot severally into the air before taking away the victim.
Haruna further stated that the sad incident has forced the residents to vacate their various homes and left for a nearby bush to hide.
The statement also said that the Emir of Karaye, Alhaji Ibrahim Abubakar II has pleaded to the Security Operatives in the State to come to the rescue of the Village, by improving all the measures in place to put an end to the menace.
Haruna through the statement  said that the District Head notified the Emir in a report that, people in Rogo district are presently living in fear as kidnapping cases are on the rise explaining that, within two months four cases were recorded.”
Also, the Emir enjoined his subjects to devote more time to prayers as a panacea to tackle social problems.
