Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has been tested positive for Coronavirus.
News Rain Nigeriareports that Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has finally tested positive of the dreaded pandemic Coronavirus.
The development was made known to general public on Saturday through the Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi, who said, the Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has tested positive for Corona virus, following his  exposure to a confirmed case of COVID-19.

Abayomi maintained that the Governor is currently undergoing treatment for the virus.
He said, Following the governor’s exposure to a confirmed case, PCR test performed yesterday the 11th of December has confirmed that he has indeed been infected with the virus which is supported by mild symptoms and fatigue typical of a mild case of COVID,” Professor Abayomi said in a statement.
The health commissioner said governor Sanwo-Olu is receiving treatment and is being closely monitored at home by very experienced State COVID-19 clinical team from IDH Yaba.
News Rain Nigeria recalled that Governor Sanwo-Olu as at on Friday (yesterday), was said to have declared his intentions to go on self-isolation after a top official in his cabinet was said to have tested positive for the pandemic.
