I Am Homeless! Popular Actor Cries For Help

Nigerian actor, Olusegun Akinremi popularly known by his stage name, Chief Kanran has revealed his present predicaments, as he recently revealed that he is currently homeless and call on well-wishing Nigerians for help.

Speaking about his current state to radio personality, Kola Olootu of Lagelu FM, Chief Karan said he lost his house and film equipment in a fire incident which sadly occurred seven years ago. According to him, “about seven years ago, things turned out really bad for me. I am not sick but what befall me is much more than illness.”

Speaking further, Kanran sadly recalled how his house was razed by fire, and his wife at that time died of breast cancer. He added that following the loss of his house, the equipment in his office also got burnt, including his four cars.

Although he managed to salvage only one car but had to sell it to feed his family.

As the situation becomes worsened, he could no longer afford to pay house rent, so he had to move into a church where he is currently staying. Kanran has therefore called for assistance so he can move on in life.

“At the moment, for over a year and a half, I have been sleeping in the church,” he said.

Recall that Chief Kanran, is a veteran in his right who rose to fame with his roles as a rich polygamist and sugar daddy. The big man’s role suits him like a second skin maybe because of his aura and charisma, you would think he has the riches outside acting.
