FRSC Converts 121 Road Marshals To Officers

Not less than 121 Road Marshals have been recruited across the country by the Federal Road Safety Corps.

The development was made known to the public on Thursday during the passing out parade of the newly converted Officers at the Federal Road Safety Corps Academy situated at Udi Enugu State.
In his address FRSC Corps Marshal. Boboye Oyeyemi who was ably represented by the Deputy Corps Marshal (Training), Sheu Zaki, noted that the newly converted Officers are comprised of one Medical Doctor, 87 officers that were from various disciplines, and 33 Engineers.
Dr. Boboye also used the passing out parade event to charge the officers to display discipline and also be dedicated to their duty.
FRSC Corps Sheu stated that he was satisfied that all the new Cadets were determined to go along with all the necessary regimentation of the FRSC.
He stated further that the FRSC has over the years make Nigeria proud as the lead agency for traffic management not only in Nigeria but in Africa at large.
“We have made Nigeria proud as a lead agency in traffic management, and for us to sustain this enviable height, it shows that our Officers from inception are well cultured, they are dedicated to saving lives.
“We are in pursuit of building an organization that is world-class that is ready to transform road safety management and operation not only in the country but in Africa. Sheu stressed

Also in his brief address, the  Commandant of the FRSC Academy, Assistant Corps Marshal, Clement Oladele, urged the new officers to put all they had learned in the academy into practice while discharging their duties, noted that the Academy has groomed you all in regimentation, learning, and character, so we expect you to practically apply these exemplary qualities to all your life endeavors especially while carrying out your duty.
