Buhari Describes Death Of Family Doctor As A Personal Loss

President Muhammadu Buhari is bereaved over the death of one of his family physician, Dr. Marlya Zayyana, who he described as an outstanding physician.
Buhari also described Zayyana’s death “as a personal loss because of our close association with her.”
President Buhari in a statement that was issued and signed to the effect by his Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Sheu, described that the late Zayyana as an outstanding medical professional.
According to the statement which further stated as thus that, “President Buhari is  greatly saddened over the death of Dr. Marliya Sunusi Zayyan the former Chairperson of the Governing Council Federal University Dutsinma
“Marliya was not only a distinguished medical doctor, but she was also a woman of integrity as her tenure the Federal University Dutsinma had testified.”
“her demise is particularly touching because she was my family doctor in addition to the fact that her brother, Dr. Suhayb Rafindadi is also my personal physician,” Buhari stated.
President Muhammadu Buhari also used the medium to extend his condolences to the family of the late Physician, the Katsina Emirate Council, and the Katsina State Government over what he called “the loss of this great, talented, dedicated and selfless medical professional.”
Until her death, the late Zayyana Marlya was a former Chairperson of the Governing Council of Federal University Dutsinma, Katsina State.
