#EndSARS: Don’t Answer Any Police Officer Not Wearing Uniform – Police Spokesperson Warns (Video)

Frank Mba has said nobody should answer any police officer not wearing a uniform.

News Rain Nigeria gathered that the Police Spokesperson, Frank Mba in an instalive chat with popular musician Naira Marley, reiterated the position of the Nigeria Police Force to ban some activities of the Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS)

While advising Nigerian youths not to answer any police personnel, not in his or her police uniform, Frank Mba affirmed that it is not a criminal act for youths to have tattoos, dreadlocks, and dress any way they want. He further advised Nigerians to record erring officers as long as they are safe and also avoid giving attention to police officers who are not wearing their uniforms.

He also said that it is illegal for SARS operatives or other police officers to go through the mobile phones or properties of citizens.

Also in the chat, Mba stated that every reform that has been rolled out in the wake of the outcry against the police unit will be strictly adhered to, adding that every erring police officer will be dealt with.

It will be recalled that News Rain Nigeria earlier reported that the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, in a statement by the Force Public Relations Officer, Frank Mba, on Sunday ordered the ban on the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad.

He also banned other tactical squads of the force, including the Special Tactical Squad, Intelligence Response Team, Anti-Cultism Squad, and other squads operating at the Federal, Zonal, and Command levels, from carrying out routine patrols.

Note that popular musician, Naira Marley has been at the forefront in the campaign against the activities of SARS.
