Ondo Election: NSCDC Deploys 2,000 Personnel Ahead Saturday Election
Oyo NSCDC deployed 2,000 personnel to Ondo State ahead of the Saturday election.
News Rain Nigeria reports that Nigeria Security and Civil Defence, Oyo State Command has deployed 2,000 of its personnel to Ondo State ahead of Saturday gubernatorial election.
The Oyo State Command of NSCDC in its bid to ensure free, fair, and credible election at the Ondo State governorship election on Wednesday deployed 2,000 of its personnel to the State.

The Command Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Corps Commandant Iskilu Akinsayan through a Press Release from the Office of the State Public Relations Officer CD. Olusegun Oluwole urged the deployed Armed Squad teams to abide by the election guidelines by maintaining orderliness at the polling unit, collation Centre and be a Good Ambassador of the Corps.
Commandant Iskilu, while addressing the deployed 2,000 personnel that are comprised of intelligence Armed Squad, Special Force, Rangers, and SWAT team at the State Command in Agodi Ibadan, noted that the 2000 personnel are deployed to Ondo State to make sure that the election is peaceful, free, fair and credible.
The Commandant also implored the electorate in Ondo State to come out to exercise their civic right and conduct themselves in an orderly manner during and after the election with an observation of government protocol on COVID-19.
The Corps Commandant Iskilu through the release gave the assurance that all hands are on deck for a Joint Operation with all other Security Agencies to Curb any act of violence, assault, ballot snatching before, during, and after the election.
