Osun Governor Oyetola has described the Ooni of Ile – Ife is an advocate of peace.
News Rain Nigeria reports that Ogun State Governor, Mr. Adegboyega Oyetola on Saturday described the Ooni of Ile – Ife, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Babatunde Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi, the Ojaja II,  as an advocate for good governance, peace, and unity.

Governor Oyetola in his goodwill message to the Ooni on his 46th birthday anniversary that was issued and signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Ismail Omipidan, which a copy was made available to the News Rain Nigeria on Saturday, 17th, October 2020, stated that the monarch is well known for his advocacy for peace, good governance, and Unity within all tribes across the globe.
Oyetola said, Ooni who not always preaches but also practice peaceful coexistence among all tribes in the country, added that since the monarch has ascended the throne of his forefathers has added great value to the traditional institution across the Yoruba land.
Governor Oyetola through his congratulatory message to Ooni confirmed that the monarch has contributed immensely to the socio-economic development of Osun State and Nigeria as a whole.
News Rain Nigeria gathered that parts of the congratulatory letter to the Ooni of Ife are stated as thus: “On behalf of my family, people, and government of the State of Osun, I felicitate the Ooni of Ife, HRM Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, on the occasion of his 46th anniversary.
“I thank the Almighty God for granting you yet another opportunity to celebrate this day in good health and peace of mind in service to Him and humanity at large.
“Since your ascension to the throne, you have added great value to the traditional institution. Also, as a custodian of tradition, you have been a great advocate both at home and abroad.
“On behalf of the government and people of the State, I also appreciate you for your immense contributions to the socio-economic development of the State. You have in no small measure, demonstrated your role as a father to all of us and we say thank you.
Governor Oyetola however, through the congratulatory message prayed for Ooni, he said, “It is our prayer that God will bestow upon you more wisdom and long life in good health on the throne of your ancestors in the discharge of your duty and in service to humanity”.
