Nigeria Police Force has denied reports of dismissal of Officers.
News Rain Nigeria reports that the Police Service Commission, (PSC) has debunked some reports on social media that it has dismissed two of its officers.

The Police Service Commission while reacting to the alleged reports of dismissal of officers on Saturday confirmed that the PSC has not dismissed the said officers, who were Assistant Commissioner of Police, (ACP) Abayomi Shogunle some reports and Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) Dolapo Badmus, over misconducts.
The PSC’s Public Relations Officer, Ikechukwu Ani, debunked the report on Saturday, through a press release that was issued to the effect, stated that it could not be true as the commission had not met.
 “The Commission did not sit yesterday and I am not aware of any dismissal. The Commission meets officially before any decision is taken and it has not met,”.
A report had it that as soon as the news went viral on social media, people started celebrating the alleged dismissal because the duo as active social media users had at one time or the other ran into conflict with young people.
The Police Commission stated that the purported list of the dismissal of 37 former Special Anti-robbery Squad (SARS) officials, including Badmus, a former Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, and Shogunle, a former head of the police public compliant unit, who were linked to story-making wave on social media, and other online platforms were actually done without verification from the right source.
