Nigeria Military has neutralized dozens of terrorists in Borno State.
News Rain Nigeria gathered that the Nigeria Military has declared on Sunday the killing of dozens of terrorists in Borno State.
Nigeria Military troops were said to have neutralized the terrorists through its Air Task Force of Operation Lafia Dole.
Making the disclosure to newsmen in Abuja, the Coordinator of the Defence Media Operations, (CDMO) Major General John Enenche through the operation update that was made available to the effect, stated that the military also aborted planned attack on the Nigeria Military troops location in Borno State.

According to the update, Maj. General Enenche said that the Operation was carried out by the Air Task Force of the Operation Lafia Dole, under the subsidiary Operation of WUTAR TABKI.
He also maintains through the statement that the Operation was in continuation of the sustained offensive against terrorist elements in the North East of the Country.
Major General, Enenche said, that the Air Task Force during the operation, destroyed the hideout of the terrorists’ and killed several fighters at Ngwuri Gana along the Gulumba Gana-Kumshe axis as well as at Jumacheri near Damasak in the Northern part of Borno  State.
He also stated that the feat was achieved through separate air interdiction missions carried out on 21 and 22 October 2020 on the heels of Human Intelligence reports as well as series of Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions indicating that several terrorists had assembled at the 2 locations in preparation to launch attacks against nearby troops’ positions.
Major General Enenche stated that the hits by Nigerian Air Force (NAF) fighter jets and helicopter gunships dispatched by the Air Task Force to attack the 2 target areas resulted in the destruction of some structures as well as the neutralization of dozens of terrorists.
