Suspects Arrested Over Abduction Of Council Chairman

Three suspected kidnappers have been arrested in Oyo State.
News Rain Nigeria reports that the three suspected kidnappers have been arrested in connection with the recent kidnap of the Iganna Local Council Development Area Caretaker Chairman and his driver.
Governor Seyi Makinde on Monday made the disclosure while on a visit to the State Police Command Headquarters Eleyele Ibadan.

Engr. Makinde, while addressing some of the State Police Chief’s an attendant at the Command, commended the efforts of the officers of the State command for a well-done job, which make it possible for them to arrest the suspects in connection with the case.
Though the Police Command has not made the details of the arrest public, Engr. Makinde has commended the Command for the arrest of the suspects and the rescue of the victims.
The Governor said, ” I commend you for the well-done job over the arrest of the suspects, and also for securing the victims from the captives den unhurt.
News Rain Nigeria, Recalled that the reports of the kidnap of the Chairman, Iganna Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Oyo State, Mr. Jacob Olayiwola Adeleke, was made public on Monday, October 26th.
He was kidnapped along with his driver Sunday evening along Iseyin-Ado Awaye Road, on his way to Ibadan for a scheduled meeting with Governor Seyi Makinde on Monday morning.
The duo was however reportedly released on Friday. Up till now, we could not be confirmed if any ransom was paid to facilitate their release or not.
Governor Makinde was well received at the Command by the State Police Commissioner, CP. Joe Nwachukwu Enwonwu, the Deputy General of Police in Charge of South West, Leye Oyebade, the Garrison Commander of the 2 Division Nigeria Army, Brigadier General Soji Ogunsugba, and many others.
