Fayemi’s Aide Tasks Ebira Community On Peacekeeping, Socioeconomic Development
Fayemi’s special assistant, Suleiman Nasiru has urged the Ebira community to always maintain peace and contribute to the socio-economic development of the state.
News Rain Nigeria gathered that Hon. Suleiman Nasiru, who was recently appointed the Special Assistant to Ekiti State Governor on Ethnic Relations (Ebira) has commenced a familiarization tour to all the 16 Local Government Areas in Ekiti State.

In his visit to Ido-Osi Local Government on Wednesday, Nasiru while meeting with Ebira stakeholders in the local government, urged them to continually encourage peaceful coexistence with their host community and always thrive for socio-economic development and growth of their environment.
He said: “I want to commend the community-leaders for the warm reception and the love expressed for my boss Dr. Kayode Fayemi. However, I want to implore all of us to continue to encourage and maintain peace and order in the Local Government in the interest of Ekiti State and for the glory of the Ebira people across the globe.”
Speaking for the Ebira community in the local government, Alhaji AbdulKareem Jimoh praised Governor Fayemi for appointing one of their own into his government. He said: “We, Ebiras in general, are grateful to the JKF administration for running an all-inclusive government, which is evident in the appointment of our son, Nasiru, as his Special Assistant.
“Moreso, we appreciate the giant developmental strides and wonderful policies of the current government; ranging from education, economic growth, public welfare and inclusive government, which has positively affected the Ebira sons and daughters across Ekiti State in many ways
“We also want to specifically thank Governor Fayemi for allowing all the non-indigenes to enjoy other privileges such as free education from primary to secondary, including the opportunity to benefit from the free SSCE examination in Ekiti.”
Meanwhile, in expressing their determination to rally support for Fayemi across all the Ebira communities in the local government, the people also used the opportunity to offer special prayers for the Governor and Ekiti State in general.
