Hon. Iroju Ogundeji has, however, been replaced with immediate effect by
Hon. Samuel Aderoboye, who happens to be a former Deputy Speaker of the same House of Assembly during the Adefarati led administration.

The newly reinstated Deputy Speaker is from Odigbo Constituency 2 while the Impeached Deputy Speaker, Iroju is from Odigbo Constituency 1.

News Rain Nigeria gathered that Hon. Iroju was impeached on the ground of gross misconduct which has brought disrepute to the State House of Assembly.

It was also gathered that twenty lawmakers signed the impeachment.

Following the reconstitution of the House, Hon. Tomide Akinribido has been removed as the minority leader and replaced by Hon. Festus Akingbaso from PDP while Hon. Ogunmolasuyi is the new majority leader.

Hon. Taofeek Oladele is now the new chief whip in replacement of Adeyemi Olayemi.
