RIP! Armed Robbery Suspects Kill Vigilante Security Officer

A Vigilante security officer has been reportedly killed by Armed Robbers suspects in Lagos.

News Rain Nigeria reports that three suspected armed robbers terrorizing Ahmadiyayya Area of Lagos State have been arrested.

The suspected armed robbers were arrested by the combined efforts of the youths in Lerato Junction of Ahmadiyya Area, on Wednesday 25th November 2020, after they have gruesomely murdered a yet to be identified Vigilante Security Officer attached to the area.

The daredevil armed robbers’ syndicate were armed with various dangerous weapons, such as broken bottles, charms, and various sizes of knives.

The suspects were seen pleading for mercy as they have been beaten by the irate youths, who stripe them naked.

As at the time of filing this report, the lifeless body of the Vigilante Officer, who according to some residents in the area, said to have come from Akwa Ibom State to hustle in Lagos was still lying on the ground.

The yet to be identified Vigilante Officer was said to have been preparing to go and celebrate Christmas and New year with his family in his village at Akwa Ibom State before he was killed by the armed robbers, who launched an attack on him purposely to successfully gained access to rob the residents of the area.

News Rain Nigeria gathered that efforts to get Police intervention to stop the irate youths in the area from killing the suspects prove abortive as Police were said to have declined to report to the scene of the incident as a result of the treatment meted out on them during the aftermath of the ENDSARS protests.
