Fayemi’s Aide Congratulates New NANS President

Moses Ademiloye Special Adviser on Youth and Students Matters to Ekiti State Governor has congratulated Sunday Asefon.

 

News Rain Nigeria  gathered that Ademiloye, the Special Adviser to Governor Fayemi of Ekiti State in a press statement on Friday discribed Asefon’s election as the President, National Association of the Nigerian Students a “the tide of new hope.”

According to him, there is no doubt that as his mantra reads, “Symbol of New Hope” that his tenure would reflect a resilient, reinvigorated, and rejigged student body.

Adding that the victory is for all Nigerian students and those who hope for a strong students’ voice in the fate of the Nation.

The statement read: “I congratulate Comr. Sunday Asefon on his emergence as President of the National Association of Nigerian Students.

“Comr. Asefon’s strides as an active member of the Federation of Ekiti State Student Union, the National Youth Council of Nigeria and NANS at the zonal and national level point to his knowledge of the workings and flaws of the Association and the urgent need to revive NANS into representing the interests of students across the country.

“I have no doubt that as his mantra reads – Symbol of New Hope – that this tenure would reflect a resilient, reinvigorated, and rejigged Student body.

‘The victory is for all Nigerian Students and those who hope for a strong Student voice in the fate of the Nation.

“I enjoin all Students to kindly maintain peace, accept the outcome and fully cooperate with Comr Sunday Asefon as he brings the tide of new hope.”

Asefon was elected, President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) at the association’s convention in Abuja on Thursday. He is a student of Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti.
